Group Events 2024

• Tuesday, 5th March 2024 - 40th Group AGM, Liston Hall, Marlow. with presentation by Adam Moore, Station Commander, Amersham and Beaconsfield, Fire and Rescue Service.

The Big Meet

High Wycombe Group of Advanced Motorists to attend The Big Meet at The Walled Garden, West Wycombe on Sat 20th July.

We will have a couple of our members' interesting cars on display (Classic and Modern) together with video presentations and leaflets promoting the benefits of Advanced Driving and what the course entails.

Do please spread the word amongst family and friends. You may have an interesting vehicle of your own that you would like to show, or just wander round the displays. Come along and enjoy the show and support IAM RoadSmart – it would be great to see you there and meet some potential new members.

Group Events 2023

It is with great disappointment that we must announce the cancellation of the forthcoming Autumn Event planned for this coming Friday 29th September.

Unfortunately, our speaker, Reg Local (John Gregory) has had to cancel due to personal circumstances, and it is too late for us to make alternative arrangements.

We will work with John to rearrange the event at a future date and inform you of any changes.

Please ensure that you pass the message on to any friends or family members that you may have invited.

• Tuesday, 1st March 2022 - 38th Group AGM. The meeting will resume as face to face.
• Date TBA - We plan to resume a Summer Event, similar to previous years. Details to follow!

• Tuesday, 2nd March 2021 - 37th Group AGM. The meeting will be held online with Zoom.
• Tuesday, 11th May 2021 - Quiz Night! A quiz night is to be held by Zoom. Details to follow!

• Tuesday, 3rd March 2020 - 36th Group AGM. Speaker is DR CHRIS TENNANT, VISITING FELLOW, LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS AND POLITICAL SCIENCE.
• Saturday, 4th April 2020 - -->Ultimate Car Control day, Upper Heyford.

Events 2019

• Monday, 5th March 2019 - 35th Group AGM. Speaker is Gary Baldwin, Supervisor, Forensic Collision Investigation Unit, Hampshire & Thames Valley Police JOU - Roads Policing.
• Tuesday, 18th June 2019 - The group are holding their annual summer event - An evening at Liston Hall, Marlow, with nibbles, and a presentation from Gary Baldwin.

• 5th July 2018 - The group are holding their annual summer event - An evening at St. Katherine's Parmoor, with nibbles, speakers and videos. This year we are focussing on the Young Driver.

2013 Events

• Tuesday, 1st October 2013 - Andy Evans - Forensic Collision Investigation.
• Saturday/Sunday, 21st/22nd September 2013 - The group is unable to attend this year's Kop Hill Climb. However, it is a highly recommended event and worth the entry fee to pop along and watch.
